On 13 October 2021 we handed over 38 empty beer bottles to the European Patent Office to remind them that they finally have to ensure a clear prohibition of patents on barley & beer, plants and animals from conventional breeding! The Administrative Council consists of experts from its 38 contracting states, and is responsible for the correct interpretation of European Patent law. However, the Council has so far not been able to solve the problem.
