The patent encompasses botrytis-resistant tomato plants and methods for their production. These tomatoes and the methods of their production are based on essentially biological breeding methods. The patentee attempts to disguise this by means of formulations which are intended to give the impression that these plants are, among other things, produced by methods of genetically engineering.
